Also make certain that you show up on time for all appointments or call if you are going to be late. Finally, always make the prospect know that you value their business. It is extremely important to qualify need as quickly as you can in the sales cycle because without need (regardless of how much trust and respect that you have established) you will never be able to close the sale. To discover a prospect's need, ask them if them if they are in the market for your product or service. If they won't tell you, find others within the organization to see if they can advise you of their need. All too often, sales people forget to ask if there is a need as well as ask for their business. A buyer could have all the trust and respect in the world for you and your organization, but if they don't have the need, they will never buy! If this is the case, move to the next prospect and then qualify their need prior to building the relationship. To become the top sales person in your organization, utilize this success formula to develop solid relationships based on trust, respect, need, and asking for business. To make this happen, execute your game plan daily and don't take rejection personally (the word "next" is the most powerful word in this field). If you implement and follow this formula (T+R+N+A=$), you will become unstoppable and earn more money that you could have ever imagined. This increased income will ultimately help you get more out of life! You may respond: "Mark, I can make this concept work anywhere. Make sure you can make it work anywhere. Your Definite Mission may mandate moving to a place where you can make it work. If you live in a big city and want to run an organic farm, you may have to move. If you're an artist in a small town, you may have to move to a big city to a) pay the bills and b) get your creative juices flowing. Regardless, I recommend making sure you can get good cell phone reception and reliable Internet connectivity wherever you open up shop. Ask people how well their cell phones work and how fast/stable their Internet connection is. I've seen how unreliable cell phone service creates frustration, and reliable cell phone service becomes something people take for granted. I have friends who have canceled their land line phone service because their cell phone service is so reliable and convenient. I've seen companies benefit from fast and reliable Internet access while others less than five miles away are crippled by their mediocre service. Good schools usually indicate good neighborhoods. By "good neighborhoods," I am referring to: At the end of the day, you probably want to live and work in a place you can enjoy. In addition to property taxes, income taxes, and sales taxes, you may end up with a head tax. I first experienced the head tax when working at a downtown Chicago condo association. I asked my boss what the head tax was, and if we seriously had to pay it. She told me the city of Chicago charged employers $5 per employee per month as a head tax. I told her it obviously motivated employers to move to the suburbs. She told me to pay it because as unwise as the tax was, the association still had to pay it. I processed the paperwork for 18 employees and sent the city a check. I understand Chicago has since revoked and reinstated the head tax, this time at $4 per employee per month. Employers who can open up shop in the city or in one of the eager suburbs like Arlington Heights, Elk Grove, or Oak Brook will find the suburbs more attractive. I understand the city and county of Denver have maintained a head tax and so has the state of Alaska. My challenge to you today is: decide where you want to do business. The economy and unemployment is bad, but there are a lot of people in America who can help getting the economy back to where it should be. People who are holding onto their money for better times, they are afraid to use them because of the uncertainty, they are really losing out right now if they are just sitting on their money. It has always been a good long-term investment. If you are buying now when the prices are on the lowest, you will make good money on your investment if you are looking for a long-term investment. I am a Realtor in Palm Beach County, Florida, the house prices here are really a steal right now in many places. I specialize in beach front properties, but I also have a lot of expertise in the other areas here in Palm Beach County. Palm Beach County has a lot to offer, from some of the most beautiful beaches in the World, to the most prestigious golf courses, equestrian and polo, plus a lot more. Properties from high-end luxury to regular homes. There is a lot of rich and famous people living in Palm Beach County, they seem to know where to invest their money. But there are plenty of condos and houses for every price range. You can buy a 2 bedroom condo directly on the beach for $250,000 or just a few miles away buy a Mansion on the beach for 80 million dollars. So as you can see, it can still be affordable to buy beach front property in Palm Beach County, Florida. Palm Beach County is not as "touristy" as many other places in Florida, like, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Naples, the Panhandle in the Gulf of Mexico, don't get me wrong, we do have tourists here also, but not as concentrated as in those other areas. The Northern part of Palm Beach County mostly have condos and houses on the beach, a few hotels here and there. The beaches are not as crowded as further south. But, of course, we love all the tourists that do come to Palm Beach County, they are a big part of our economy. A lot of people buy their second homes down here, I don't blame them, this is truly paradise. The ocean is always warm, even in the winter time, beautiful, greenish color and sandy, sandy beaches. When you live here on full time, it feels like you are on vacation year round, even if you work hard, just go down to the beach for a little while after work, and you forget all the stress you have. I was born and raised in Norway, way up north, gorgeous country, but not that warm. I lived in California for many years, which is also a very beautiful place, but I must admit that Palm Beach County, and especially Singer Island, is my favorite place in the world. I can keep on writing and writing about Florida, but I would not be able to justify all the great things about it, you would have to come here to see and feel it for yourself. If people who has money started to seriously invest in real estate in the hardest hit states in America, they could help us get this country back on its feet. When the housing market is bad, everything else is suffering. Unemployment, construction workers, carpenters, appliance stores, furnish stores, etc. you know what effect it has on the economy. If everybody with money invested in real estate, we would get out of this mess in no time. The equity would rise pretty fast, unemployment would be less, people will start spending money again, and we all would be back to "normal. Right now there are more foreigners that invest money in the housing market in America than Americans. Do not get me wrong, I have nothing against foreigners, I'm one, but I think the American people should have some pride and help this country, and at the same time grab this opportunity to make a great investment. It will not last forever, and as a lot of times before, the day that everybody wakes up and think, "I should invest in real estate," the prices have already gone up a lot. If you, or anyone you know, are sitting on some money, act now, before the prices goes up. If everybody is pulling together, we can change the bad times to good times. We do not want to rely on the government to fix the problem, like they do in Europe, that's not the American way, the American People fix the problems themselves. Born as Charles Rogers Grooms, Red Grooms is an American Multimedia artist and a printmaker born on June 07, 1937. ' 'Pop Art' was an art movement, which began in 1950s in the US and reached its height in 1960s. Its central characters were inspired from everyday life. 'Pop Art' portrays wild and exciting themes from modern urban life. Red Grooms is also famous for his 'Sculpto-Pictoramas,' a term he used for his unique work. The artist would use sculpture wire, vinyl, elastic fabric, wood, & other materials in his works, with usually various human figures. Grooms made his most famous installation, "City of Chicago," in 1967. Red made this famous installation along with his wife Mimi Gross, a painter. "City of Chicago" was a three-dimensional installation, describing an ironical view of the city life, which was never witnessed before. The localized landmarks and the residents exhibiting a mixed expression of comedy, celebration, and horror, were portrayed with absolute finesse and perfection. Initially, the figures of this work looked amusing, which on keen observation appeared ironical, expressing the truth of the society. The mark of the "City of Chicago" was the buildings portrayed on large-scale scenes, with flat figures dealing with daily life activities. His most famous installation "City of Chicago" was a hit and Grooms had an article published on the cover of 'Look' magazine. This large, colorful, and a 'sculpto-pictorama' was a milestone of its type in the field of 'Installation Art. ' "City of Chicago" was exhibited first at Frumkin Gallery, California. The installation now graces the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, US. Grooms' other famous 'sculpto-pictorama,' apart from the "City of Chicago" was 'Ruckus Manhattan' (1975), beautifully picturing people strolling around with the entertaining scenes of Lower Manhattan, from Wall Street to Chelsea.
